DutySheet were using standard web hosting to provide the application, this presented many challenges including security, availability, speed and disaster recovery.

Solution

IP6net where chosen as the right company to assist with the migration of the application into a Enterprise infrastructure. The chosen solution was to move the application to a dedicated webserver and database server within our Flex Cloud infrastructure giving realtime replication of the virtual machines using VMware fault tolerance to a geographically disparate data centre and a fully managed firewall, along with realtime monitoring of core processes using Nagios and Microsoft Operations Manager.
